aww, now I wanna make banananananana bread! But it's so late... I will do it soon tho! Thank you for the cooking tutorial, Shephard of The Art Portal!
Bananananana bread yes yes! :D You welcome!
I mean, it looks amazing, of course it does! And the music work is soo awsome too! Works hella well with the animation itself, more than in most cartoons without being fully dedicated to it like a music video.
I don't really get the plot though? Why did the monsters need to get masks, and why didn't they destroy the floaty blue thingies earlier, since humans don't live there and the floaties are probably from long ago?
I totally understand why the plot would be confusing. I had to cut a lot of shots due to deadlines which might have led to some confusion in the story. When creating more content for Terra Town I'll be sure to clear up any confusion and unanswered questions my proof of concept may have created. What I can say is the monsters are given masks of themselves to highlight there positive traits.
Well that video was adorable💜
It contains animals
Is he still a happy fren or is he here to kill with a smile on his face?
He is ready to rip and tear >:3
Woah that was so mindblowingly epic! I can see why Lucky is considered a NG icon now, tihs was probably one of the best animations of all time! THe fact that it's a collab aswell makes it even better with all the diffrent styles this has!
It's actually a student film, not a collab :p
But thank you!!
So many sounds you could use as fnaf jumpscares... glourious
I have no idea what I'm looking at, but this looks like it has the potential to become the next popular NG series, IF you do it well enought.
thanks xd
Ok so first of all, the story goes by really fast. Like, the textbox where Jack asks Villager for candy is only there for like, 2 frames, or at least it felt like it. I had to rewatch and pause multiple times just to see what was happening. I feel like making more frames of the characters interacting and looping those frames a few times would help solve this issue.
Then there's the way stuff is drawn. To be fully honest, it kinda frigin sucks. I like how you did lighting, often a thing many people forget, but the rest Really needs improving. Like, this just looks very un-even ,with many inconsistencies, like Jack's left arm being a lil ,,leaking void", I would call it, while his right arm is a circular knob. You might wanna try removing certain lines and drawing them again if you feel they look bad.
The movements also look kinda janky at times, like the characters were shoved in from somewhere else, with a lot of small, white spaces placed around them during certain frames. If you ever spot this when animating, I recomend you remove those anomolies and maybe smooth out some of the character's outlines, since those seem to dissapear every now and then aswell.
And lastly, I understand that you have to draw a lot, like, A LOT to make even 4 seconds of an animatic, and it can take entire days. However, it's better to not rush yourself. There's a strategy I like to do, where if I'm unsure if something looks good, I leave it as is and work on a diffrent part, then when I can no longer remember how the thing I was unsure about looked I go back and can check if and what improvements it needs.
Thanks for the advice, I will try to improve but I do not assure you anything and I made this animation in October (I mean when I started) and I agree that it is total shit. If you want you can see the other one that came out so that you can also tell me how to improve that one, I warn you that it is also shit, well thank you or and I felt a little sad with what it is shit but it is the truth lol and tankyou very much for follow me ,and obiusly the animation will erase for the critics xd
